There are always good cookie recipes online at www.allrecipes.com
Or you can look on the back of a container of oats, they usually have a fantastic recipe.
I use the peanut butter cookie recipe from the betty crocker cook book but have also used several from allrecipes.

I use the one on the lid of Quaker Oats, I substitue Nestles' Peanut Butter chips for the raisins.

Follow the recipe as it is given but add 1 small package of the peanut butter chips instead of the raisins.  Bake as directed.  Delicious,

You can also use canraisins, or Nestles chocolate chips - any flavor.

Enjoy !

I second the vote for allrecipes.com and also for the Quaker oats recipes for oatmeal cookies, also yummy with butterscotch chips instead of raisins. I don't normally like peanut butter cookies, but these are so good! From Rachael Ray's website: http://www.rachaelraymag.com/recipes/dessert-recipes/pennys-pbj-cookies/article.html
Looks tricky but it's not- just a little more time consuming and totally worth it!

As Bertrand Russell once said, "The only thing that will redeem mankind is cooperation." I think we can all appreciate the relevance of that now.

Thank you for the recipe, as this is the recipe that I learned when there is not much money to play with.
