Is anyone else's cold water hotter than the max setting of the water heater? If I let it purge for about 5 minutes it will eventually get luke warm (about what I expect for az).  I've lived in az my entire life (Tucson, Chandler, Ahwatukee, 'Copa) and I've NEVER seen the tap water in the cold line that hot.  Also yes, the water is not switched with hot.  In the AM after the lines have had a chance to cool down it's cold.  At any rate, just wanted to see if anyone else in this division is having issues like that.  (Trailside)

It's because of the water lines being in the roof instead of underground.  The summer the lines are hot because of the heat in the attic and in the winter time it takes a few additional minutes to heat it up for the same reason.
