Freya, I love chicken pot pie and Paula Deen. Would you mind IM'ing me with the recipe or the name of it? I found one called Lady and Sons Chicken Pot Pie, is that the one you use?

Also, I really like recipes from Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee on foodnetwork.com. I just saw one this weekend with fajita pizza (made on the grill) that I want to try.

DaybyDay, that's the right recipe. It is SINFUL!
Our food TV favs are Emeril & Alton Brown, but Paula Deen is right up there. A few of Emeril's recipes aren't too difficult (heck, I can make them) but they always seem to ask for some wierd ingredient.

Yesterday was individual chicken pot pies, today, something simple. Steak and baked potato on the grill, roasted red peppers and garlic (also on the grill), sauteed mushrooms, tossed salad, homemade french bread and homemade apple pie for desert.

Carne preparada and fresh pico on hot tortillas. With cream cheese stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon.

A nice fire on the outer patio and some Pacificos and some Cazadores. Every meal should have an atmosphere.

For me it's a spectator sport unless it involves a can or a microwave.

Had steaks and baked potatoes and salad at my son's house tonight.

They got a fire pit and christened it tonight. We had such a good time. Perfect weather. This is my favorite time of year in AZ!

I came across a nice recipe for Chicken and Asparagus. It required Phyllo dough. Fry's was either out or their folks couldn't tell me where it was. I looked all through the frozen foods section.

Anyway, I decided to do a variation of chicken cordeau blue. I added asparagus to it. I'll let you know how it turned out.

Tuna and olives in spaghetti sauce over pasta. My Italian wife learned it from her grandmother back when Catholics did not eat meat on Fridays. Just the smell of the sauce simmering for hours is great. Put the tuna (canned) and olives (sliced) in for the last half hour.
