"one pansy looking dweb"

I've never heard Hitler put in quite those terms, but I think they fit.

Can you blame him?  His country was being overrun by illegal aliens, who were crossing the border, like cockroaches.  They were abusing the government programs and not contributing any taxes  They were also setting up areas in cities, where the native language was second to their own.

Oh, nevermind.  Thats the present day USA, not 1930s Germany.

Catus Rob, I enjoy so many of your posts; that is an absolute fact, but..

In order for one to say that a good Christian would never break the law one would probably have to think all laws are good and instituted to serve justice, and that mans' laws are always working in tandem with God's. That's simply not the case. All one has to do is extrapolate from history to see how horrendous the consequences of unjust laws can be. I can think of scenarios where a good Christian would be working defiantly against injustices that become legislated.

A good Christian should always want to be within the law and live accordingly, but this is in no way an absolute.

Respectfully,
Serp.

In the Germany of the 1930s and 40s, a good Christian should have broken many of Hitlers laws.

Christians did, they hid Jews in their attics like Ann Frank........and when they got caught they went to camps along with the Jews......

A second cause of World War 1 was imperialism. Imperialism is the domination by one country of the political, economic, or cultural life of another country or religion. Economic rivalries were a big cause of World War 1.

Now I have to admit the assasination of the Archbishop and the Countess was more about Militarisim, but it also was Imperialism of the country's religion, and social economic stability that caused the  " Black Hand" assassins to murder the Archbiship Ferdinand.

WWII was about one pansy looking dweb who wasn't held enough as a child decided to slaughter the Jews.

WWI started when Serbian nationalist ,supported by Serbian army officers who wanted to unite all Serbs into what eventually became Yugoslavia, assassinated the Archduke Franz Ferdinand , heir to the throne of Austria- Hungry. Please note that he was an archduke (a title of nobility) not an archbishop (a religious title). The war expanded into a world war as a result of the pre-war alliance system. In no way was religion a major driving force in the events leading up to WWI. To become educated on the subject , I invite you to read Dreadnought by Robert Massie, a Pulitzer Prize winning author.  Or you the can get the clift notes version of the causes of WWI , google - causes of WWI.

WWII stared when Germany invaded Poland in a land grab. As a result, Britain and France, who had promised to defend Poland, declared war on Germany. the war later expanded when Germany invaded the USSR, and again when Germany declared war on the US (when Japan came into the war). Religion had nothing to do with any of this.Good books to read to educate yourself on the subject would be The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, or the books on the war written by Winston Churchill. You can also google - causes of WWII -

.Again I challenge you to cite one creditable historian who supports your strange understanding of history. Until you educate yourself on the subject you are argumentum ad ignorantiam (arguing without knowledge) .

Also, disabled people, poor people, and anyone who disagreed with him. It wasn't just about physical characteristics.

And I challenge you to the same. Show me your God, show me that the Egyptians were wrong with their religous beliefs, show me the wrong ways of the Greeks and Romans on how wrong they were in their religous beliefs. Then tell me why God and Jesus are the one and true Gods. Tell me how millions of people before Christianity was even made up, were wrong in their choice of religion?

Wow, anger issues.  Your last sentence is really out there, you imply that Christians believe no people existed before them?

Feel free to dismiss my lack of religion.  If there truly was a god, there would be one religion.  I think it is presumptuous of all religions that they believe that they are right and everyone else is wrong.  When we all know, that I am right.
