Can anyone tell me about Nice N' Cozy daycare out off of Papago Rd. I am thinking of puting my 2 year old daughter in because it is very difficult to find a daycare that goes past 6 pm. If anyone has any info and recommendations that would help that would be wonderful!

I can tell you about nice and cozy. If you want your daughter standing in a corner all day long because she MAY have done something wrong. Or if you like poor day care living conditions then go ahead and put her in there. If you like your daughter to eat nasty tasting and nasty looking food then go ahead and put her in there. I had my daughters in there and had nothing but trouble with that place. My oldest daughter stood in the corner the entire day she was there because she MAY have pushed another kid. Well she didnt I demanded to see the video of the day and Bernadine showed me it. She didnt even come close to touching another kid. In fact she was hit that same day and teased cause she was in the corner. She had to even eat sitting in the corner when lunch came. She was even made to take her nap in the corner. I pulled both my kids immediatly from that place. SO DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS IN BERNADINES NICE AND COZY!!!

I would like to thank you very much for the response. As a mother I am deeply concerned with the way some daycares are run. My gut instinct was telling me that this is not somewhere I want my daughter to be. I am deeply sorry you had such a terrible experience with this place. You put your faith in someone that turns around and takes a c***p right on your face. Pardon the expression... Thanks again for the info and god bless you and your children.

God bless you and yours as well. Always go with your gut feeling. I should have. I felt very weird about putting them there but figured I had no other choice. That is something I will never do again. I know that even DES wont certify bernadines day care. So if they wont even let kids go there then that means this place should be shut down.

I think that is a major part of my problem. Feeling like I have no other choice. I don't want to just "settle" on a daycare when there are so many consquences for that action. Tutor Time is a wonderful place that does fit all of my requirements i.e. open until 7 pm. But now I am not even sure my husband will be able to be there on time every day. So, again, I want to thank you for putting my mind at ease by letting me know about Nice N' Cozy. I will work graveyard shift if I have to to make sure my daughter doesn't get into a bad daycare. I will do anything possible because I am a mother that will only give the best to my child.

For what it's worth, my son (high functional autistic) goes to Tutor Time. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff there and how good they are with him and with all of the children that I see there. They are great at communicating with me on whether he had a good day or a difficult day and always listen to my concerns, and even remember to not ever bring up the subject of his mother! They are pretty expensive. I still highly recommend them if you are able to find a way to make it work for your schedule.

You certainly had more restrait Megwhit than I'm afraid I might have. There is NOTHING a child can do to warrant spending that amount of time in a corner! I would have been furious also. Good for you for following your gut instinct and pulling your children out of there.
