My family and I are new to Maricopa and wondering about trick or treating. Does anyone know when it is as well as the time. I say Fry's has something going on. Thanks

I also wanted to ask this. Do you all take the kids door to door on Halloween? What time do you usually begin? If you don't do that here, what do you do?

Last year COC church put on a Trunk or Treat in the Fry's shopping plaza. In addition to all the cars handing out candy they had a huge carnival area all for free. Many of the businesses there were also handing out candy. They will be doing it again this year from 5-10 PM. It was nice not wandering the dark streets all night with the kiddos and there was more to do than just filling a bag full of candy.

Yes, I agree. My son had so much fun at that last year, and this year, since my little one is older it should be even better.

You can look in the local Maricopa flyer that goes out announcing the different events. I hear Fry's is the place to be. That will give you the times. I will be trying that with my child this yr. Last yr. very few people in our neighborhood seemed to be bothered by handing out candy to the kids. Sad compared to how much we got as kids trick or treating.

Yeah people take the kids out door to door. I get a lot of kids. Dusk or earlier for the little guys and usually wrapped up by 8:30 However this year its on a Friday...
