I was driving through town yesterday and noticed there were surveyors at the Southwest corner of Edison and 347 ( JW PKY ). Is that supposed to be under construction soon? I noticed a bunch of corner stakes placed out in the field now. If anyone hasa any info. as to whether they are going to begin construction on something there, please let me know. P.S. I remember the thread awhile back that showed a corner shopping center that was supposed too be put in there.

I thought that's where a Fresh & Easy was supposedly going at one time. long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away? as with anything here I'll believe it when I see it and something is actually there and up and running.

I heard this past week that LA fitness coming in was pretty much a joke, atleast anytime soon. What is true?

There was a guy who posted on here a few weeks ago that said that was completely FALSE! LA Fitness was out in front of Basha's signing people up for memberships, but not for that location.

there were surveyors at the Southwest corner of Edison and 347 ( JW PKY ) LA Fitness is coming in where Mountainside backed out time to break out the compass folks the aborted Mountainside site next to Frys is Northeast corner. Southwest would be on the QT side across Edison Rd.

Doesn't this Fresh & Easy fall into the newly created Downtown Redevelopment District? Are they even allowed to start construction because of this? Seems to me the General Plan for this area would need to be in place before anything could happen.

No, I did not notice. I pass the site 6AM northbound & 6:30PM southbound 5 days a week while trying to stay alive on the 347 Speedway.
