Ok, so I have never posted anything on here before, but I seriously need to vent. Last week I was driving through the new dip, and like everyone else I was speeding because I thought 15 was way too slow. Well I got a ticket.... a $300 ticket to be exact, so since then I have been going the speed limit.

People I understand you want to get home, but if someone chooses to do the speed limit there is NO reason to flip them off honk at them or drive on the wrong side of the road to get around... Really it's an extra two three minutes top's. Remember we are all in need to get home. I am pregnant and I really needed to get home, but yet I was still doing the speed limit, so unless your dying show some manners!

26, its a double fine zone when workers are present. Usually 10 over is 150, but because the guys were out, even though not close to where I was, its 300! :o(

That is how i am all the time. I laugh at the people who flip me off or cuss me out because i was going the speed limit. then when they fly by me I laugh harder when I see them get pulled over. I have seen that a few times already and it makes my day a little happier.

Maybe you should video tape that the next time it happens BMW....I NEVER EVER see jerk drivers get pulled over. Ever. It's one of the only things that make me sooooo angry when I drive. I try to be a good, courteous driver, but then people drive like idiots and seem to get away with it. I got a speeding ticket right after moving to Maricopa--I didn't realize the speed limit went down to 35 on Honeycutt--after that I started paying closer attention to the speed limit signs and my own driving. I don't mind getting flipped off or whatever, but it sure would make me feel a little happier to see those people get pulled over. In WA state we had a number people could call for HOV violations and also for aggressive driving. I wish we had that here.

May I ask if there were WORKERS present at the time of your ticket? If not I would fight the extra charge. 15 is a tad too slow? 20-25 is ok.

I am glad to hear that you thrive on negative things happening to others.

They were present, just not close to where I was. They were in the ditch and I was before it. But I called a few people and it all counts, it is one construction zone so it doesn't matter how close or far, all the same thing!

ive been driving for 14 years and have never received a ticket and i tend to speed a bit from time to time just as most people do...i also tend to constantly check my mirrors and look ahead along side the roads to look for cops trying to bust people...is it that you were not paying attention around you while you were speeding or were they hidden so well that it wasnt possible to see them?...as i enter that dip at 35mph most of the time im already looking across to the other side to see if a cop is sitting anywhere along side the road or down that first street into senita...im sure ill have my day but so far constant mirror checking and scanning along side the road has paid off for this "law breaker"

I am just throwing this out there, but you can use smith-enke or MCG Hwy and avoid the school zone/stupid temp light and the 15 mph construction zone. Just a thought.
