 Alert | I was heading North on 347 and saw an amazing sight. I saw a female doing 65 in the fast lane. But that isn't the amazing part. I have no problem with speed obeyers. What I do have a problem with is the fact that she was leaning forward and using the rearview mirror to put mascara on. Come on ladies, do that at home and not on the road. Alert | When was the last major accident on 347? I haven't seen one in months. I can't think of one time i was help up in traffic since the resurfacing was complete.
Not sticking up for this idiot who obviously wants to crash her car and drive that little stick into her eye, but your "so many accidents" statement makes me wonder if the accident rate has declined since the resurfacing was complete. | |

Alert | I'm sorry vinny. I didn't know my "so many accidents" statement was suppose to be specific to 347. You are right NOBODY ANYWHERE ELSE IS STUPID.....just 347. And no, accidents haven't decreased since resurfacing.

Alert | | That is funny. When I worked for the police department, I had to attend the civilian employee police academy and heard so many stories from the traffic officers. The one that sticks out the most was an officer who was passing a vehicle with the driver cooking breakfast on an electric hot plate in the passenger seat. Needless to say he pulled him over but it just amazes me what people will do. What is even crazier are the moms who actually feed their babies while driving. Yes they are out there!!! | |

My husband tells me that on his way back into Maricopa the other day, he was driving next to this woman and they were going about 60 mph (slower than the norm 75 as they were approaching the slower part where 347 becomes JWP)... this woman had gospel music blaring, head up, eyes closed, both hands palm up to the sky, swaying back and forth (her, not the car, shockingly). This was no brief outbreak of song, either, he says he was next to her for up to 3 minutes straight and this was going on. Unbelievable. Do ppl really have that little sense? It's a good thing she loves God so much, she's going to be seeing him soon if she keeps that up. Hopefully she doesn't take anyone else with her. | |
