Yeah, I understand not going if the view is obstructed. Better safe than sorry there. But if you can see there are no cars coming and it is a green light, there is absolutely no reason not to go. It's not like you are more likely to get hit that way. In fact, you could get hit while going on a green arrow, just by someone who runs the red light. If you are that cautious, I say stay off the road.

If the light is green but not an arrow and the traffic coming toward you is clear than I would hope that you would turn. If you dont turn than fully expect everyone behind you to flip you off and blow their horns until you do. Then people are going to start to notice you are the one blocking traffic everyday you turn there and you will start being cut off as people shoot back into traffic and go around you at the light. Unfortunately when that happens there is likely to be another accident right along side you and very likely involve you as cars collide next to you. I applaud you for being safe and wish everyone was, but if the light is green you should be turning when the approaching traffic is clear

Wow! I had no idea that so many people in Maricopa could be so nasty. I guess that will teach me to vent on the forum. But just to clear a few things up for those so concerned, if there is no protected light, I do not sit there all day. The whole point of the e-mail is that if I can not see around the cars that are trying to pull into Racho, then I wait. I do not try to poke around into the intersection to see. If that makes me cause an accident due to the impateint person behind me who thinks I should go, even though I can not see, well sorry. And if they chose to lay on the horn and cuse me out, well so be it. Maybe they have a better view than I do and can see. This e-mail was not written so that we could all question everyone elses driving. And as far as talking bad about my children, REALLY? If saying I am not a dangerous driver who pushes the limit and guns it through traffic so that I make it home 1 minute earlier, makes me a bad mother to you, wow!

I completely agree with LadyBPA on this matter. I too live in Cobblestone Farms and have personally witnessed several near collisions because people try to guess and gun it into Cobblestone from 347. Obviously they either cant see past the cars waiting to turn into Rancho El Dorado from 347 or they completely misjudge the speed of the oncoming cars. Either way, waiting an additional 45 seconds at a light isnt gonna kill anybody, but pulling out across oncoming traffic that is travelling well above the 45mph speed limit at that intersection will definitely kill you. As for cholo bandito or diesel let me know what kind of car you drive so that if I ever see you trying to gun it I will be the big truck aiming for ya at the intersection just to prove a point not to be such a jacka**. Nice name cholo bandito...too bad your kids are probably just like you.

Just stay off the road, if you can't drive your car.

Cigarettes are stupid. If you are going to smoke something, it might as well get you high.

Threatening people is against TOS.  Maybe you can take an anger management class,  while the Lady is at driving school.

I drive a 1986 low-rider Caprice, essay.  If you see me out, say HI!

I agree with Lady. I will sit at the lights if I can't see around the cars turning left opposite of me. I also am the person who makes complete stops at stop signs and waits for everyone else to stop before I proceed. I hate to say it but I think drivers in Maricopa are way more dangerous than anywhere else in the state. I have seen more red light runners, stop sign runners, excessive speeders, etc.
