Alert | Just being poor doesn't mean one is white trash. Definition number two is the best description. Let me expand on number two, using a person we will call Joe as a hypothetical situation......
Joe is white, and grew up in a middle class home. He went to a good school, and didn't really have to worry about money as a kid/teen. Mom and Dad bought him a car in high school, and planned to pay for his way through college. Joe goes to college and starts off doing well.
Joe starts to get lazy and goes to parties a little too much. Mom and Dad pay for everything, so Joe doesn't really know about hardship (and he doesn't really try hard at anything). Joe gets crappy grades and drops out of college a year and half into it. Mom and Dad get peeved and cut Joe off from funds. Joe gets mad because now he has to pay for everything on his own.
Joe can't get a job better than $8 an hour and now is peeved at the world. It is everyone else's fault Joe can't get ahead in life, and Joe does nothing to improve his situation. Joe blames the economy, other people, the fact that he is white, blah blah blah. Joe is pretty much now in the real world, but thinks because he is white he is entitled to the best without having to work for it.

Alert | When I think of white trash, I think of a pregnant woman wearing a wifebeater and smoking in the front yard of her trailer, which, by the way, is riddled with old car parts and rusted wheelbarrows. Her husband was a truck driver until he was fired for drinking on the job, and as such, he sits outside with her and drinks Milwaukee's Best beer in a can, wearing a matching torn up dirty wifebeater with a trucker hat perched haphazardly atop his greasy head. The only things they agree on are Wal-Mart's ridiculously high prices and the fact that their lack of jobs has to do with those derned minorities taking them all for 4 cents per hour.

Alert | Don't be talkin trash bout my mom n pop! Anyhow yous never know whens you may be needen dem car parts. Just so yous knows our hair not greasy. Wes gets a bath in the holler every two weeks, need it or not. In the summer anyways. I aint workin caus my wife run off wid my best friend and my truck and my dog. Darn, I miss that dog!

You rather defend those in abugharib who would want nothing better than to wipe this earth clean of Americans.....they will not bat an eye to detonate your family, your loved ones....because your family being Americans, having the freedoms represented by them by the men and women who helped bring this entitlement to them.......yet you feel compassion for these terrorists and your heart bleeds for them. Too bad, as McCain rather blend in with a crowd and "play up his image," exactly his thoughts when he signed up and graduated from the naval academy in 1958.
