Oy vey..... Riki sounds like you were in hog heaven under Jimmy Carter... if Obama gets elected then you might me happy again. But say goodbye to quality and high standards. Gee Jimmy do you want to pick up garbage or spend a few hundred thousand on a medical education, they pay about the same?

i bet its easy to say the EU doesnt have a better quality of life, but if you ask any poor family or even middle class american family who is struggling to pay for health insurance or send their kids to college that other countries dont have these worries, then you may find that they would welcome that kind of lifestyle.

seems over there they dont have the rat trapped in a maze approach, they are healthier&have more vacation time, maternity leave&dont have to worry about a big insurance company telling them their loved ones cant get life saving procedures because they dont want to pay the big price tag.

we could have a similar setup here, but right wingers dont want to take care of anyone else but themselves. bet if they were the ones having to face their loved ones dying&their insurance company denying them care then they would sing a different tune about universal healthcare.

See my post on 10/10 about the survey. Why do such high percentages of EU citizens say that that would move to the US if they could? Why would they want to leave the workers paradise to come to the greedy US?

Except for the Netherlands and France, those numbers aren't really that high.

From my experience, Europeans want to live in America, because they think Hollywood IS America.

Almost one third of the people of Spain, the UK. and Canada would move to the Us if they could and you think that thats not a high number. Be honest, if a third of Americans said that they wanted to move to another country, you would be trumpeting that fact and saying how it proved what a lousy system we had and how much better the other country was.

Did they give a reason, as to why they would move?

Not to discredit you, because you know alot...but, that's a little too vague of a survey.

Maybe these people just want a change in life?
